Our Vision

Dighton Church is a group of imperfect people desiring to be changed by the love & grace of a perfect God. We gather on weekends to worship Jesus, and then scatter to our communities as missionaries throughout the week.

Our Staff

Rev. Dylan Kelly

Lead Pastor

Rev. Dylan Kelly joined the Dighton Wesleyan Church family in March of 2025. He is an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church with over a decade of ministry experience in many areas of church life, including preaching, pastoral care, children’s ministry, and digital ministry. Dylan is passionate about helping people deeply encounter Jesus and grow in a life of holiness shaped by grace, guided by truth, and marked by transformation.

Dylan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Capital University and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in spiritual formation through Wesley Seminary, with a research focus on how physical practices can shape our spiritual lives. He believes that spiritual growth is a whole-person journey—engaging the heart, soul, mind, and body—and he seeks to help others live out a faith that is both personal and embodied.

Before coming to Dighton Wesleyan, Dylan served as an Online Campus Pastor and Children’s Pastor, where he helped develop meaningful worship experiences, build community, and disciple people of all ages. He has a heart for raising up leaders, equipping families, and fostering environments where people feel known, loved, and empowered to live on mission.

Outside of ministry, Dylan enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, backpacking, and exploring nature with his wife and children. He also serves as a football official in the community, finding joy in building relationships and being a positive influence on and off the field.

Dylan’s greatest desire is for people to know the hope and power of the gospel, experience life transformation through the Holy Spirit, and grow together in the love of Christ. He is excited for what God is doing at Dighton Wesleyan and honored to serve this church and community.

What We Believe

Dighton Church believes in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit. We believe in the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on its teaching. Finally, we believe God’s will is for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the Church is to tell the world about Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.

The following are terms descriptive of who Wesleyans are and why they do what they do. They describe the “soul of the Church”:

The Bible is the highest source of written authority for God’s plan for His people; it reveals how to live out that plan, individually and corporately. Therefore, beliefs, practices, priorities are to be anchored in clear biblical teachings.
Jesus Christ is the defining feature of God’s will for all humankind. In Christ is found the highest and most practical meaning and clearest example for holy living or godliness. Christ is both example and strength as Wesleyans pursue integrity, excellence, faith, hope, and love.
Making disciples is a clear mandate from Christ, which requires a strong focus on evangelism and training in spiritual growth and holy living. Done effectively, this will produce and promote growth and health in and among the churches.
Wesleyans respect leadership that is placed over them, while realizing that the authority and effectiveness of spiritual leadership is not primarily bestowed, but earned and manifested by a loving and willing heart of obedience that serves God and mankind gladly. Wesleyans desire to be leaders in serving.
There is intrinsic value in every person. Unity becomes all the more important and beautiful in the light of the wide ranges of difference in personality, culture, race, talents, and perspectives. Loving each other eliminates devaluation and deprivation of life to one another.
